What is Lemongrass oil?


Genus and composition: Cymbopogon Citratus of which the main constituents are Myrcene, Citronellal, Geranyl Acetate, Nerol, Geraniol, Neral, Limonene and Citral.

As in all extracts, Lemongrass oil is also extracted from the lemongrass plant by steam extraction. Lemongrass oil smells sweeter. Less sour and milder than lemons.
